Farzi café is known for its dishes with twists to its taste. Situated seamlessly on the top floor of UB city with beautiful outdoor and rooftop seating, the location adds some 100 points to the place since it is always flooded with the crowd of posh kind. The music is always loud and the beer is always chilled. The ambiance inside is almost average in the afternoon even though they have tried to experiment with the seating arrangement; it’s sort of uncomfortable to sit for long, but it looks lit after the sunset. This food chain is known for its fusion element, the eccentric touch of embellishment to the basic Indian food, making it the instagrammers favorite since the food looks more delicious than it actually tastes.

We ordered for the Guntur Chilli Chicken since zomato reviews spoke too highly of them. The presentation was as expected on point; it was beautifully served on the half cut rolling pin dressed with veggies. There was a prominent taste of chilies which thankfully did not take over the overall flavor of the chicken. To accentuate the spicy flavor, I ordered for a classic mojito, which was quite refreshing for the sunny afternoon.

The next dish was Ghatii Murg, basically a sophisticated version of tandoori chicken tikka served on a tiny barbeque burner and mint chutney , its seasoned beyond perfection and is a perfect combination of being succulent, crispy and juicy all at the same time; clearly satisfying our glutton obsessed tastebuds. The dishes are so heavy and rich in the ingredients that unless you are a hardcore foodie, if you have ordered more than one starter, moving on to a main course becomes almost impossible and so we decided to skip directly on to desserts.

Also because the waiters forgot to pass on our orders twice, we simple got tired of waiting. Having flourished in the taste, presentation department, farzi café should really work on their service in this outlet.

Anyhow, the desserts being the showstopper of the day- Rasmalai Tres Leches won our hearts like nothing ever could. The presentation took the dish to a very next level as it was served beautifully alognwith the caramelized sugar supported meticulously to the dessert; what a pleasure to the eyes and my camera.

The first bite felt like a festival inside my mouth. What a burst of flavors, dry fruits and the creamy texture of rasmalai along with the right amount of sugar content. There was not a single thing to pick about; it was the epitome of a perfect dessert.

All in all, Farzi cafe is best at its creativity, the bill was given inside a typewriter after all and the cosmo touch to all the Indian dishes were very smartly put up, accentuating the flavors. However, they do need to work in their hospitality a bit.

But if we keep that apart, I highly recommend the place at-least for having the experience once.
